Executive Secretarial of the Central American Electrification Council - SE-SEAC
Constitutive agreement
The decision to create CEAC, made up by the main public electricity companies of the Central American countries, was made in 1979, but its Constitutive agreement was not signed until 1985.

Structure
The joint meeting is the highest authority of the CEAC and is made up by the highest executive authorities of the member institutions. Such meeting is chaired by a President, who is the highest authority of the institution that is hosting the Council. The Executive Secretariat and the Technical-Financial Committee are also part of the institutional structure.

Functions
Make a better use of the energy resources in the electric energy generation, transmission and distribution processes. Its areas of action are: Interconnection agreements, studies, research, training, distribution of information and advisory, establishment of contacts with other organizations, and coordination of actions with third-parties.
