The Energy and Environment Partnership with Central America is an initiative of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, CCAD and SG-SICA, launched during the United Nations World Summit on Sustainable Development in Johannesburg 2002.


Which is the main objective of the Energy and Environment Partnership?
To make possible that the renewable energy resources have a major participation in satisfying the energy needs of the isthmus, contributing in this way to their sustainable development, the reduction of the increase of greenhouse gases effect and the mitigation of negative effects caused by global Climate Change.
