To promote the use of renewable energies in the region, the Energy and Environment Partnership with Central America (EEP) organized jointly with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and the Ministry of Energy and Mines of Nicaragua, the XIII Regional Forum "Renewable Energy in Isolated Places in Central America", held at Real Intercontinental Hotel in Managua, Nicaragua, from March 18th to 20th, 2009.
